When to Use This Tool & Product Description

This tool is specifically designed for large, heavy ductile iron round manhole covers that are difficult to open manually. It can be used for any ductile iron round manhole cover with a diameter of 1000 mm or less, making the opening process much easier.

Product Application Scope

This manhole cover opening tool is primarily designed for ductile iron manhole covers, which typically feature a swivel pin. Once the hook is engaged, the cover can be easily flipped open.

Additionally, the tool can also be used on non-swivel pin covers, such as concrete or cement manhole covers, although more effort may be required to flip them.

This tool does not unlock manhole covers. It is only intended for use after unlocking, assisting in flipping and opening the cover.
